One of my biggest pet peaves is that some sites advertise that CLA is bad, or doesn’t work,but really when you get to their site, they don’t get into the facts and just bait and switch you to their more expensive products. By the time your done, your paying $90 for their quick and easy loss plan-that I would be careful of.

thank you troy i will try the R alpha lipoc acid out and switch to the beta sitoserol..my prostate is in great shape but i just take it so it dosnt get into bad shape,,is that smart or is it ok to do that with a healkthy prostate? and i will check out the side affects on the N.O but im not taking it for that much longer im just using it to get me back into the swing of my working out with weights..im going to give it up in a month or two..been on it for about a lil over a month .thanks so much!
I would just be careful with the Nitric Oxide and research the possible side effects of taking too much of that. And if you’re taking the Saw Palmetto for prostate, you should look into Beta Sitoserol, it’s is much more effective and even better in a formula like ProstatePure Plus. One other supplement you might look into is Stabilized R Alpha Lipoic Acid, there is extensive research done on this one.
Thanks for the input! As far as the CLA, if you’re taking the 1000mg capsules, you’re only getting 800mg CLA per capsule at best. You should switch to the 1285mg capsules instead. It sounds like you’re working out a lot. I would expect you are pretty lean with this schedule. As far as overdoing it, I don’t think so.
The 1285mg capsule is 80% CLA so you get just over 1000mg CLA with each one. That is why we suggest taking the 1285mg instead. If you are taking a 1000mg capsule you need to take at least 4 per day to get 3000mg of CLA.
That’s the problem that most people don’t understand because the vitamin companies don’t tell you. A capsule labled 1000mg doesn’t really have 1000mg of CLA. Most CLA pills that you buy contain only between 60% and 80% CLA in each capsule. That is why your capsule says 770mg of CLA when in fact it is a 1000mg capsule. Only 77% of what you are taking is CLA. If you take only 2-3 of these you will be getting less than the effective dose of 3000mg per day.
troy great video,,i just started taking cla 1000mg 3 times a day..i take it with lunch and dinner but i take the 1st one with a protien shake in morning because i dont eat breakfast and i take one fat burner(ripped fuel) in morning as well..i work out with weights 3 to 4 tomes a week and inbetween i cardio 2 hours a day..i take a multi vit plus fish oil an calcium tab and 2 160 mg of saw palmetto..and b4 i work out i take nanox9 (nitric oxcide)..am i over doing it? sorry for all those q’s
It is unusual for CLA to cause abdominal pain if taken in the suggested dosage. Because Tonalin CLA,as a supplement, is an oil, if you take too much at one time and take without food, it can cause an upset stomach. We suggest you take your CLA with food.
The Tonalin 1285mg per capsule provides you with just over 1000mg of Tonalin CLA. Taking 3 a day would give you the suggested dosage of 3 grams per day. That takes into consideration that you will still get more CLA in your diet.
Even cows that aren’t grassfed have some CLA, it’s just that grassfed cows have more. So something in the cows turns the grass into CLA, but CLA can be found in many other plants. Currently the highest content has been safflower oil and that is what the best brands, Tonalin and Clarinol use.
CLA is listed by the FDA as GRAS (Generally reguarded as Safe).

well even if you dont get exactly 1285 mgs you get cla from your diet if you eat meat and i believe its in dairy as well, so if you take 3 tablets and get the rest from diet
Trust me I know how you feel. I have a heart arrithmia and can no consume caffine of nicotine. I take Tonalin though because it is one of the fat reducing supliments that does not have caffine. Guys naturally have viceral fat, around your organs as opposed to women who have subqutanies fat, just under the skin. Tonalin stops your body from storing fat around your organs and puts it into your muscle so it can be burned off. It really does seem much safer, just get lots of exercise.
My girldriend was taken CLA, she was giving her abdominal pain. any idea why.
This is actually a very good statement. If we could all find and consume only grass fed beef, we would all be better off. The point of the video is to show that our availability (at least if you don’t live on a ranch) of grass fed beef is very limited.
Yeah, so does does the regular foods we eat (that contain high fats), it’s all dangerous for our liver and kidneys, but you gotta choose, yucky fats we eat or CLA, you do your research see what you come up with.

You are correct in saying that you don’t need exactly 1285mg for results. You are incorrect that it’s a gimmick. We are pointing out a mistake that most people will make because of misleading and confusing labeling. Most people wrongly assume that 3 x 1000mg is the 3gr per day suggested by the studies. They don’t know that the CLA is 80% of that or less. You can use 1000mg caps or even 500mg and be successful, you just need to take more than 3 per day. No gimmick. just facts.
You don’t need exactly 1285mg for results, that is only a marketing gimmick.
